Walter Kenneth Toy JR

Walter Kenneth "Scruff" Toy Jr. 37, of Yatesboro, died unexpectedly on Thursday,
Nov. 22, 2007, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. 

He was born Jan. 14, 1970, in Kittanning to Walter K. Sr. and Dorothy
(Goodgasell) Toy, of Worthington. 

He attended Worthington-West Franklin Elementary School, Worthington, Pa.  

He was a supervisor at Summit Academy, Herman, and a member of Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Worthington. 

Mr. Toy was an Army staff sergeant who served in Panana during the invasion,
Bosnia and Germany and 18 months in Iraq with the 307th Military Police Company.
He spent 17 years serving his country and enjoyed being with his family and
friends. 

In addition to his parents, also surviving are his wife, Tracey (Miller) Toy;
children, Abigail and Justin, at home; sisters, Sandra Mercatell and husband
Tony, of Cowansville, and Amber Boltz and husband Dennis, of West Kittanning,
and nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours are 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL
HOME, Kittanning, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Arlyn
Eisenbrandt officiating. 

Interment in Ford City Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a fund for his children at Citizens Bank,
Franklin Village, Kittanning.
