Gordon Lee Steighner
Gordon Lee Steighner, 43, of McKeesport, formerly of Ford City and Saxonburg,
died Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at his residence.
He was born March 12, 1965, in Natrona Heights, a son of Gordon Steighner Sr.,
of Leechburg, and the late E. Kay (Hutzler) Steighner.
He was a 1983 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.
He was a commercial manager for the Allegheny County Assessment Office.
He was of the Catholic faith and an avid sprint car and Steelers fan. He enjoyed
spending time with his family and children.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Christine Harris
Steighner; sons, Nicholas Steighner, of New Bethlehem, and Christian Steighner,
of Midland, Va.; daughters, Andrea Steighner, of New Bethlehem, and Allie Hicks,
of Kittanning; a granddaughter, India Hayden; and one great-grandchild; a
sister, Patricia Rumbarger, of Ford City; and a niece, Katelyn Rumbarger, of
Kittanning.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the MANTINI FUNERAL
HOME, Ford City. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home
with Father John Izral officaiting.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ford City, PA.
