Janine Ann Boltz Kijowski

Janine Ann Kijowski, 47, of Route 268, East Brady, Sugarcreek Township,
Armstrong County, went home to be with the Lord shortly Tuesday, December 2,
2010, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with
cancer.

Janine was raised in Worthington and born in Kittanning, July 27, 1963. She was
the daughter of Foster J. and Delores M. (Pyle) Boltz. 

Throughout her illness, Mrs. Kijowski was an inspiring Christian witness to all
who knew her. 

She was a 1981 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

She was a longtime active member of the Chicora Christian and Missionary
Alliance Church, where she lived out her Christian life teaching Sunday School,
singing in the church choir and as a member of the Alliance Women. 
She was a wonderful and caring person who especially enjoyed the company of her
family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
She had been employed as a registration clerk at Armstrong County Memorial
Hospital for more than 20 years. She was deeply respected by those she worked
with and enjoyed a close friendship with her ACMH family. 

She was married in Chicora to Nick J. Kijowski, April 27, 1984. He survives,
along with their two children, Andrew J. Kijowski and Hannah E. Kijowski, both
of East Brady. Also surviving are her parents, Foster J. and Delores M. Boltz,
of East Brady; six siblings, Robert K. Boltz, of East Brady, Theresa L. Long and
her husband, Harry, of Kittanning, Cindy K. Sinkevich and her husband, Greg, of
East Brady, Richard K. Boltz and his wife, Vicki, of Worthington, Dennis L.
Boltz, of Kittanning, and Brent A. Boltz and his wife, Kathy, of Cape Cod, Mass.
In addition, she is survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ed and Sue
Kijowski, of Ford City; four sisters-in-law, Rose Alwine, of Kittanning, Marie
Kijowski, of Kittanning, Gloria Young and her husband, John, of Freeport, and
Carrie Hafner and her husband, Ken, of Pittsburgh; as well as a number of aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Janine was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and from noon to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the  F. Duane Snyder Funeral
Homme, 424 Bear St., Worthington Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday
from the Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 310 E. Slippery Rock
St., Chicora, with the Rev. Mark Wallace, church pastor, officiating. 

Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Cadogan, Pa.
