Shawn Levi Barton
Shawn Levi Barton, 39, of Worthington RD1, died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township.
He was born June 15, 1963 in Allegheny County to Carl L. Sr. and Mary L.
(Bowser) Barton.
He was a 1981 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Mr. Barton was a former employee of the Armstrong Cement Plant.
He was a member of the Worthington Baptist Church.
His memberships included Ducks Unlimited.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Della M. (Cypher) Barton; one daughter, Holly M.
Barton at home; his parents of Worthington RD1; and five brothers, Carl Barton
Jr. of Chicora, Barry Barton and Scott Barton, both of Worthington, Jeffrey
Barton of Kittanning RD4 and Boyd Barton of Cowansville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Friends of Shawn L. Barton, 39, of Worthington RD1, who died June 5, 2003, will
be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral
Home, Bear Street, Worthington, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.
Sunday with his pastor, the Rev. Joseph Simpson, officiating.
Burial will be in the Slate Lick Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
