Keith Jeffrey Claypoole
Keith Jeffrey Claypoole, 60, of Worthington, died on Wednesday, October 13,
2021, in the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
He was born on April 2, 1961, in Jackson, Miss., to the late Kenneth Bowser and
Jane Lu (Stevick) Claypoole Stockdill.
He was a 1979 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.
Keith owned and operated his own trucking company.
He was a member of the Furnace Run Chapel in Kittanning.
Keith loved Jesus. The family was important to him. Helping others was a great
asset of Keith’s.
He loved to ride his Harley, travel, go to camp and be with his friends and
family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Ruth (Stevens) Claypoole;
daughters, April Gardener-Piccola and Elisa Hammock; son, Travis K. Claypoole;
stepdaughters, Dusty D. Bourg and Julie Medina; 17 grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; sisters: Melinda Gordon, Joy Barnhart, Judy Skelly, Susan
Peate and Wanda Fletcher; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Ralph
Claypoole, Paul Bowser, Gloria (Bowser) Shaeffer, Jane (Claypoole) Holly and
infant twins.
Family and friends of Keith Claypoole, will be received from 10 a.m. Saturday,
Oct. 23, 2021, in the Furnace Run Chapel, 154 Montgomery Road, Kittanning, Pa.
16201, until the time of a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. with Pastor
Jimmy Edwards officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to
Furnace Run Chapel.
The Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, PA., is assisting the family
with their funeral arrangements. |
