Chris Allan Porter
Chris Allan Porter, 19, of 335 Ross St., Worthington, Pa., died at 1:14 p.m.
Friday, May 2, 1980 at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, Pa.
He was born October 10, 1960 in Kittanning to Henry C. and Harriet F. (Kronen)
Porter.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa. He was a
private in the U.S. Marine Corps and a 1978 graduate of Kittanning Senior High
School and Lenape Vo-Tech.
Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Greg Andrew Porter and Patrick Lee
Porter, and a sister, Danielle Janine Porter, all at home; his maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kronen of R.D. 7, Kittanning, his paternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Porter of South Buffalo Township and his
great-grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Vollmer of Buffalo, New York.
Friends of Chris Allan Porter, 19, of 335 Ross St., Worthington, Pa., who died
May 2, 1980, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Sunday at Wendell A. Welch Funeral Home, Ford City, Pa. Service will be
held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, 1980, by the Rev. Roland Clemson, pastor of the
Frankllin Union Baptist Church, Worthington, Pa.
Burial will be in Ford City Cemetery, Ford City, Pa.
