Cindy Lou Long Bowser Cravener Housley

Cindy Lou Long Bowser Cravener Housley, 56, of Kittanning, went to be with her
Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.

Cindy was born October 12, 1959, in Kittanning, a daughter of Charles H. and
Glenna A. (Shay) Long.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

She dedicated 16 years to the Kittanning Borough Council serving the first
ward.

She was a member of the First Church of God in Kittanning. She was a member of
Kittanning Hose Co. 1 Auxiliary and a member of Kittanning Crime Watch.

Cindy married her husband, Chuck Housley, on May 20, 2000. 

She fought her battle with cancer with an upbeat and positive attitude. 

She will be remembered for her infectious smile and love for her family. Cindy
enjoyed her nightly talks with her brother, Chuck, discussing the Pittsburgh
Pirates and Steelers. 

The family would like to thank her caregivers, Hospice care, and so many others
that have touched her life in anyway.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Housley; son, Jason (Jamie) Carnahan of
Indiana; son, Michael Bowser; granddaughters, Lauren Bowser, Camryn Carnahan,
Logan Magagnotti; grandsons, Michael Bowser Jr., Chase Carnahan; brothers,
Charles (Shirley) Long of Kittanning and David (Debbie) Long of Dayton. She is
also survived by special nephew, Cary Long along with numerous nieces and
nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles H. and Glenna A. Long, who
were residents of Worthington; and a sister, Barbara Yackmack, who was a
resident of Ohio.

Funeral services will be private.
