Douglas Scott Hillberry

Douglas Scott "Griz" Hillberry, 61, of Worthington, died on Thursday, January
13, 2022, in ACMH Hospital.

He was born on September 2, 1960, in Kittanning, to the late Charles Greir and
Sherry (Evans) Hillberry.

Griz was a graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School Class of 1978, and
New Castle School of Trades. 

He was a U.S. Army veteran. 

He was a machinist for II-VI in Saxonburg, for 10 years. 

He was a member of the Craigsville Legion and Buffalo Valley Sportsmen's Club
and was also a self-taught guitar player. 
Left behind to cherish his memory includes his wife, Connie (McPherson)
Hillberry, whom he married on Dec. 24, 1993; daughters, Emily Wise, of Fenelton
and Melissa Marree and husband, Doug, of Slippery  Rock; granddaughter, Lainey
Kay Marree, of Slippery Rock; sisters, Darla (Lynn) Toy and Deanna Hillberry,
all of Worthington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Orie
Hillberry; and an aunt, Gloria
Hillberry. 

Family and friends will be received from 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, in the
F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, until the time of
funeral services at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Nathan Bramlet officiating.

Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
