Worthington Man, 20, Found Dead After 422 Crash

A Worthington young man was found dead in a creek, about 15 hours after his car
crashed off Route 422 at Worthington, just east of the Buffalo Creek bridge,
according to Kittanning State Police.

Police estimate that the accident happened between 1 and 2 a.m. Saturday
morning. They say Pacek was traveling eastbound on 422 at an apparent high rate
of speed when he left the roadway on the south side and struck a guard rail,
slid sideways about 220 feet across the east and west bound lanes, flew about
250 feet in the air over a steep embankment and landed in a small creek.
