JoAnn nmn Kuchta Cushey

JoAnn Kuchta Cushey, 58, of Worthington died peacefully on October 16, 2016, at
home with her loving husband of 46 years. 

She was born on October 25, 1957, in Kittanning to the late John and Anna
Victoria (Schnitzler) Kuchta.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

She was a lifelong resident of Worthington. 

JoAnn was retired after 35 years at Armstrong High School. 

She had a deep belief and faith in God. She loved long walks along the corn
fields with her grandchildren. She loved going to all sports activities for her
children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her brothers and
sisters, family was her life. 

She also loved music and to dance, her favorites being Stevie Nicks and Bruce
Springsteen.

JoAnn will always be remembered as a loving free spirit, her kind loving heart,
the love for her family of those who are with us and those that have passed. 

She loved to laugh and have as much fun as possible, and was kind and good to
children and the elderly. She loved her cats. Before the end of every night she
would tell her grandchildren "always remember grandma loves you to the moon and
back," and will always be remembered and sadly missed by those who knew and
loved her.

Survivors include her husband, F. David Cushey Sr. of Worthington; daughter,
Mandy (Matt) Tack of Worthington; sons, David Jr. (Melissa) Cushey and Justin
(Kelsey) Cushey, all of Worthington; granddaughters, Brittanni (Ryan) Boltz of
Cowansville, Megan Johnson, Georgie Shoop, Lexi John, and Laci John, all of
Worthington; grandson, Zach Tack of Worthington; granddaughter, Caleigh Tack of
Worthington; grandson, Isaac Cushey of Worthington; granddaughter, Payton Cushey
of Worthington; grandson, Braylen "Bean" Cushey of Worthington; brother, Herbert
J. Peters of Worthington; sister, Connie (Denny) Ballock of Cowansville;
brother, Nick (Lisa) Kuchta of Walkchalk; sister, Tory (Ken) Roudybush of
Worthington; and sister, Deb (Kevin) Bowser of Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Sandford Marshall
Peters.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19,
2016, at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington. An
additional hour of viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11
a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Marks King officiating.
