Jeffrey Wynn Barton
Jeffrey Wynn Barton, 59, of Kittanning, died Sunday, September 20, 2015, at
Lutheran Senior Life Inpatient Hospice House in Butler.
He was born October 6, 1955, in Kittanning, a son of Carl and Mary (Bowser)
Barton Sr.
A self-employed contractor, he attended Worthington Baptist Church and was a
1974 graduate of Worthington High School, Worthington, Pa.
Jeff loved taxidermy work, hunting and taking care of his chickens.
He had a wonderful send of humor and loved to make people laugh, but his true
passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, whom he married August 23, 1993,
Patricia (Cypher) Barton; daughter, Andrea Barton Coleman (Mike), of Fenelton;
son, Cameron Barton (fiance, Rachel), of Tarentum; grandchildren, Dustin, Derek
and Madison Coleman and Tyler Barton; father, Carl Barton Sr., Worthington; and
brothers, Carl Barton Jr. (Susan), of Chicora, Barry Barton (Karen), of Butler,
Scott Barton (Pamela), of Worthington, and Boyd Barton (April), of Cowansville.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn
Barton.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME in Cowansville. Additional viewing from 10 a.m. until the
time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Baptist Church with the Rev.
Dr. Joseph T. Simpson officiating.
Interment in Slate Lick Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
