Howard Paul Black

Howard Paul Black, 48, of Kittanning, formerly of Worthington, died Tuesday
December 9, 2003 at his residence. 

He was born April 30, 1955 in Kittanning to Arthur and Theda (McManus) Black. 

Mr. Black was a heating, ventilation and air conditioning installer for
Bradigans, Inc., of Kittanning. 

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, target shooting and spending time with his
family and friends. 

Survivors include his mother of Elderton; three brothers, James Black of
Michigan, Bill Black of Elderton and Alan Black of Worthington; five sisters,
Ruth Alwine of Butler, Mrs. Jerry (Louise) King of Bolivar, Mrs. Michael
(Maxine) Mullins of Lorain, Ohio, Mrs. Terry (Nadine) Szul of Yatesboro and Mrs.
Fred A. (Fran) Cessna of Kittanning RD5; his companion, Nance Pinkerton of
Kittanning; and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Walter and
Ruth Black; and his maternal grandparents, Jesse and Eva Jane McManus. 

Friends of Howard Paul Black, 48, of Kittanning, formerly of Worthington, who
died Dec. 9, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Bear St., Worthington, where funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert Burns of North Buffalo Brethren
Church officiating. 

Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
