Valerie Hope Bowser Brocious
Valerie Hopr (Bowser) Brocious, 56, of Worthington, died Monday, August 6, 2012,
at home.
She was born September 30, 1955, in Kittanning, a daughter of Frank M. Bowser
and the late Avanelle (Fails) Bowser.
She was a member of Worthington Baptist Church. She was a teacher and principal
at Worthington Baptist Academy from 1977 to 2010.
A 1973 graduate of Worthington High School, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in
elementary education from Cedarville College in 1977.
She is survived by her father, Frank M. Bowser, of Worthington; husband of 35
years, Steve A. Brocious; son, Joel Brocious, of Meadville; daughter, Emily
Brocious, of Worthington; and brothers, Jeff Bowser and Vaughn Bowser, both of
Worthington.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Additional visitation
will be held from 10 until the time of services at 11 a.m. Friday at the
Worthington Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Joseph T. Simpson officiating.
Interment in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
