Raymond Lynn Kilgore
Raymond Lynn Kilgore, 68, of Cowansville, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021,
at ACMH Hospital.
He was born December 25, 1952, in Butler, Pa., to the late Ralph Eugene and
Elizabeth (Atkinson) Kilgore.
He was a 1971 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.
Raymond married Jean (Zier) Kilgore on Oct. 4, 1975.
He was a retired deputy sheriff for Armstrong County.
He loved to watch the History Channel and Discovery Channel, especially
Moonshiners. He liked to read and to cook, especially ham and beans. He loved
the outdoors and Western movies.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Kilgore; daughters: Jennifer Reedy, of
Templeton, and Heather Kilgore, of Wilmington, N.C.; brother, Roger Kilgore, of
Kittanning; sister, Deb Kutch, of Kittanning; granddaughters: Shana Roudebush,
Lacy Reedy and a granddaughter coming in August; and several nieces and
nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Raymond's honor to the
Orphans of the Storm, PO Box 838, Kittanning, PA 16201.
Private arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in
Cowansville, Pa.
