Theresa Christine Hodak Walters

Theresa Christine Hodak Walters, 68, of Worthington, died on Monday, February
21, 2022, in her residence.

She was born on March 30, 1953, in Kittanning, to the late Robert “Chuck”
and Theresa “Kate” (Edwards) Hodak.

SHe attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, PA.

Chris was a retired CNA caregiver at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. 

She enjoyed baking, cooking and was known for her fudge at Christmastime,
playing cards, and dice, her flower beds, and gardening. She loved her kids, and
grandkids.
 
Left behind to cherish Chris’ memory includes her husband, Kenneth Walters;
sons: Ronald L. Turney, Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Kittanning, Richard J. Turney
and wife, Lisa, of Magnolia, N.J. and Robert J. Turney, of Worthington;
grandchildren: Victoria Hogg, of Pittsburgh, Jacob Lorigan, of Kittanning,
Elizabeth Kriebel and husband, Steve, of Knox, Pa., Vanessa Laveingand husband,
Joe, of Venus, Pa., CJ Turney and wife, Mariah, of Fairview, Pa. and Kaitlyn
Sutton and husband, Greg, of Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Charlie,
Isabella, Christopher, Benjamin, Alex, David and Addalyn; brother, Robert J.
“Bob” Hodak and wife, Carol, of Kittanning; sister, Jacqueline Smith and
husband, Jeff, of Worthington; nieces, Melissa Hawk and husband, Ross, of
Worthington, and Lacey Smith, of Worthington; nephews, Mark Hodak and wife,
Shelly, of Worthington, and Tony Hodak, of Kittanning; and great-nieces, Callie
Mae Hawn and Ashley Hodak, both of Worthington.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents; and
an infant sister, Jacqueline Ann Hodak.
 
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February
24, 2022, in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington.  

A private funeral service will be held with the Rev. Robert Hindman
officiating.
