Larry Chart Hawk
Larry Chart Hawk, Perry Hwy., Meadville (Union Twp.) passed away at 6:00 am on
Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Erie. He was 63.
Larry was born in Kittanning, PA on June 26, 1953 a son of the late Niles T. and
Hazel E. (Anthony) Hawk.
He was a 1971 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He had been employed by PPG Industries, Plant #8, Meadville from which he had
retired in 2011.
He also was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Meadville.
He was a social member of the Vernon Central Hose Company, Station 23 and the
Conneaut Lake Park Fire Department, Station 5.
He is survived by two brothers, Duane K. Hawk of West Palm Beach, Florida and
Harold L. Hawk and his wife Kerry Kelty of Pittsburgh. A niece Killian Hawk and
her wife Elizabeth Fairfax and a nephew, Carson Hawk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his stepmother, Hannah G. (Lamb)
Hawk.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Robert L.
Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville and at
the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 429 Bear Street, Worthington, Pa on Friday,
August 12 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am when the funeral and committal service will
be held with the Rev. Robert Hindman, pastor of the Worthington Presbyterian
Church officiating.
The interment will be at the Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
