Marcia Ann Turberville Pietrala
Marcia Ann Turberville Pietrala, 53, of New Alexandria, died Thursday, April 13,
2006, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
She was born January 27, 1953, in Kittanning, the daughter of Emogene
Turberville, of Worthington, and the late Joseph Turberville.
She was a 1970 graduate from Worthington High School and following with Indiana
University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree. She received a master’s
degree in library science from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s
degree of business of administration from Seton Hill University.
She was employed by Seton Hill University as a librarian.
Marcia was a member of the United Methodist Church of New Alexandria.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, James G. Pietrala, of New
Alexandria; one son, Jerrod Pietrala, of New Alexandria; one brother, William
Turberville, of Kittanning; one sister, Cynthia McCullough, of Ford Cliff; and
nieces and nephews.
Services were held Tuesday at the United Methodist Church of New Alexandria with
the Rev. Linda D. Landers officiating.
Interment in New Alexandria Union Cemetery, New Alexandria, Pa.
