Louise Lois Bowser Montgomery

Louise Lois Bowser Montgomery, 71, of Kittanning, PA., passed away January 27,
2022, at ACMH hospital after a short battle with COVID-19.

Born January 2, 1951, to Roy H. and Irene (McAfoose) Bowser, she grew up on a
dairy farm in Worthington, Pa which she and her dad Roy enjoyed working together
for the first forty years of her life, tending to the cows, fields, and hauling
and selling hay to the mushroom mines.

She was a 1968 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.

Her happiest day was when she married the love of her life, Samuel Montgomery
Jr., in the most beautiful wedding on November 26, 1991. They had a courtship
and marriage seen of that in fairytales.

The Lord blessed them with two beautiful daughters, Emalee and Clara. There was
nothing Louise was more proud of than her two girls.

A lifelong dairy farmer which she loved greatly, Louise was still milking 90
plus dairy cows twice a day up until a few short days before her death. She was
always smiling, always laughing, and loved to talk to anyone everywhere she
went. She had so many friends.

Louise was a Christian and loved Jesus and put her trust in him. She enjoyed
ranger rides with Sam after milking and going to auctions and long car rides and
out to eat with him. They were inseparable. She was the best cook and baker in
all the land. She loved spending time with her two grandsons, Ryker and Kayden,
and talking on the phone with her mother Irene.

She is survived by her loving husband Sam Montgomery Jr.; daughters, Emalee
(Colton) Hohn and Clara Montgomery; grandsons, Ryker and Kayden Hohn, all of
Kittanning. Also, surviving is her mother Irene Bowser, of Worthington; her
siblings who were her best friends, brother Robert Bowser and sister Bonnie
(Dave) Stewart. She is also survived by in-laws Faye (Jim) Rupp, Donald (Jane)
Montgomery, Nancy (Mike) Hooks, Sue (Dave) Lash, Mark (Cheryl) Montgomery; and
many nieces and nephews who absolutely adored their Aunt Weezy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy H. Bowser; her father-in-law,
Samuel Montgomery Sr., and mother-in-law Lorraine Montgomery.

Louise was everything to her family and the pain and devastation that this loss
has caused them is unfathomable. One of the last things Louise told Sam was to
tell everyone to get the vaccine. We know that Louise is now at home with her
Lord and Savior.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday,
February 1, 2022, at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington,
PA. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at Furnace Run
Chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor
Jimmy Edwards officiating. Masks or face coverings are respectfully suggested
for those attending the visitation and services.

Burial will be in Brush Valley Brethren Church Cemetery in Adrian, PA.
