Marian Elaine Anthony Claypoole
Marian Elaine Anthony Claypoole, 62, of Kittanning, died Thursday, September 8,
2011, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 26, 1949, in Kittanning, a daughter of the late Jim Anthony
and Virginia (Pauline) Anthony.
She was a 1967 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was retired from Creekside Mushrooms. She enjoyed collecting figurines.
Survivors include her son, James Jason Claypoole and his wife, Angela, of
Worthington, and their children, Taylor, Morgan and Aden; daughter, Jill
(Claypoole) Mistick and her husband, Edward, of Butler, and their children,
Deagan and Lila; sisters, Mary Anthony, of Worthington, Deborah McGrady and her
husband, James, of Worthington, Kathy Stewart and her husband, Don, of Fenelton,
and Deanna Burke, of Butler; and brothers, Michael Anthony, of Worthington, and
Edward Anthony and his wife, Leitha, of Vandergrift.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James
Anthony Jr. and Robert Anthony.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the F. Duane
Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear St., Worthington., where services will be held at
11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Scott Jones officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
