Barbara Lynn Painter Claypoole

Barbara Lynn (Painter) Claypoole, 65, of Worthington, Pa., died Thursday, June
5, 2014, at her home in Worthington. 

Born October 7, 1948, in Kittanning, Pa., she was a daughter of Dan Alonzo
Painter and the late Pearl Roberta (Timmerburg) Painter. She was a lifelong
resident of the community.

She was a 1966 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Prior to retirement, she was a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital,
Butler, Pa. 

She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington. She was a
coordinator for Reach to Recovery, a choir director and past organist at the
Evangelical Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger Henry Claypoole; daughter,
Julie B. (Claypoole) Doverspike and husband, Josh, of Worthington; son, Brian H.
Claypoole and wife, Angelique N., of Worthington; two granddaughters, Tiffany M.
and Brittany L. Doverspike, of Worthington; two grandsons, Lincoln H. and Roman
A. Claypoole, of Worthington; three brothers, Richard Dennis Trudgen and wife,
Bethea H.,
of Dubois, Pa., Daniel Alonzo Painter Jr. and wife, Fredericka L. "Freddie", of
Chicora, Pa., and Robert Clarence Painter and wife, Kelly R., of Kittanning;
four sisters, Pamela Gay Baumgartner and husband, Robert W., of Elkridge, Md.,
Cheryl Ann Burke and husband, Donald R., of Fenelton, Pa., Dana Louise Ball and
husband, Glenn E., of Madisonville, Ky., and Debra Lee Snyder and husband,
Thomas C., of Cowansville, Pa.; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann(Claypoole) Yockey and
husband, Roy S., of Cowansville; and 15 nieces and 14 nephews. 

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Henry
W. Claypoole; and mother-in-law, Ruth M. Claypoole. 

A private ceremony for family will be held, with the Rev. Lawrence Camberg
officiating. 

Interment will be held in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
