Gloria Jean Bowser Shaeffer
Gloria Jean Bowser Shaeffer, 38, of Worthington, died yesterday, Monday, August
31, 1987, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, after an illness.
Born December 29, 1948, in Worthington, she was the daughter of Kenneth J. and
Hazel (Long) Bowser.
She was a 1966 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Mrs. Shaeffer was employed by the Royale Motel, West Kittanning.
She attended Shadyside Chapel at Yellow Dog.
Surviving are her husband, Jack L. Shaeffer; two daughters, Theresa L. and
Rebecca S. Shaeffer, both at home; a brother, Paul Donald Bowser of Cowansville
R.D. 1; four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Joy G.) Barnhart and Mrs. Richard (Susan P.)
Peat, both of Kittanning R.D. 3, Mrs. Fred (Wanda L.) Fletcher of Worthington
R.D. 1 and Judy A. Skelley of Cabot; and a grandson.
An infant daughter preceded her in death.
Friends of Mrs. Gloria Jean Shaeffer of Worthington, who died Monday, Aug. 31,
1987, will be received at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington, from 7
to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services
will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
