Jane Lu Claypoole Harris Holly
Jane Lu (Claypoole) Holly, 43, of RD 6, Kittanning, Pa., died Thursday, June 20,
1991 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born September 8, 1947, in Kittanning to Ralph J. Claypoole and Jane L.
(Stevick) Claypoole Stockdill.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
A cook for the American Legion in Ford City, Pa., she was a member of the Grace
Lutheran Church in Manorville, Pa., and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the
American Legion.
Survivors include two sons; Michael E. Claypoole, of RD 2, Kittanning, and Barry
A. Houser of RD 6, Kittanning; two daughters, Stella M. Hartman of Yatesboro,
Pa., and Kelly Harris of RD 6, Kittanning.
She is also survived by three brothers, Joseph H. "Bud" Claypoole of West
Virginia, Ralph J. Claypoole of Alabama and Keith Claypoole of Worthington; a
sister, Malinda J. Gordon of Worthington and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Holly, in 1989.
Friends of Jane Lu (Claypoole) Holly, 43, of RD 6, Kittanning, who died
Thursday, June 20, 1991, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
at Welch Funeral Home, Ford City, where funeral services will be held Sunday at
2 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Koch, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Manorville,
officiating.
Burial will follow in Alcola Trinity Cemetery, Alcola, Pa
