Nancy Melissa Delp Krantz

Nancy Melissa (Delp) Krantz, known as Misi to her loved ones, died on Thursday,
December 31st, 2015 at the age of 68.  

Misi was born, June 4, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Clyde H.
and Mildred (Croyle) Delp and was a long time resident of Cape Canaveral and
Cocoa Beach, Florida.

She was a 1965 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Misi was also a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and 
Temple University.  

She enjoyed a long career teaching Special Education at all grade levels in
Pennsylvania and Florida, both in Brevard County and Orange County schools.  
She most recently retired as a Director of Special Education for the DoDEA in
Germany.  

She also spent several years teaching and traveling in Europe while stationed 
in Turkey and Germany with the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity
(DoDEA). 

Misi enjoyed retirement in sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida.  

She played in several Bridge groups, spent time with life long friends, and 
made many trips to Atlanta to visit her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children:  James Krantz, his wife Karen, and two
children of Roswell, GA and Jacqueline (Krantz) Daniels, her husband Jon, and
three children of Kennesaw, GA.   

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Melinda (Delp) Kaufman.   

A Celebration of Life will be held at Manatee Park in Cape Canaveral on
Saturday January 30th at 2:30 pm.  

Memorial contributions in her honor can be made to the Dan Marino Foundation
for Autism or The Foundation for Women's Cancer.
