Paul Donald Bowser

Paul Donald Bowser, 65, of Ford City, died Monday, September. 17, 2012, at
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. 

He was born March 20, 1947, in Worthington, to Kenneth J. and Hazel (Long)
Bowser. 

Paul graduated from Worthington High School in 1965 and previously worked as a
boiler maker. 

He was of the Protestant faith and held memberships at the Kittanning Men's Club
and Kittanning Eagles No. 896. Hunting, fishing and spending time with his
special friends were Paul's favorite pastimes. 

He is survived by his sisters, Joy Barnhart, of Kittanning, Wanda Fletcher and
husband, Fred, of Leeper, Judy Skelley, of Kittanning, and Susan Peat and
husband, Richard, of Kittanning; brothers, Gerald Bowser and Kenneth Bowser,
both of Homer City, and Keith Claypool, of Worthington; brother-in-law, Jack
Shaeffer, of Worthington; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.


Paul was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Shaeffer;
brother-in-law, Walter "Bud" Barnhart; and nephew, Joseph Peat. 

At Paul's request, there will be no visitation. Funeral services will be at 1
p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at BAUER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES
INC., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, with Pastor Jimmy Edwards officiating. 

Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
