Shirley Joanne Courson Yoder

Shirley "Joanne" Courson Yoder, 66, of Rimersburg, died Monday, December 12,
2011, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a short illness.

Born June 20, 1945, in Sligo, she was the daughter of Milton and Annabelle
(Switzer) Courson.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, PA.

She worked for the Archway Cookie Company and Clarion County Transportation
before her health prohibited her to continue.

Mrs. Yoder attended the Carwick Wesleyan Church in Rimersburg.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Yoder and his wife, Ruth, of Clarksville, Tenn.;
four grandchildren, Natosha Yoder of Rimersburg, Kayla Yoder of Clarksville,
Tenn., Rona Martin and her husband, James, of Clarksville, Tenn., and Marshall
Yoder and his wife, Jessica, of Clarksville, Tenn.; five great-grandchildren,
Brailagh and Gaige Claypoole, Jayden and Haley Yoder, and Lucas Martin; a
brother, Ed Courson of California; her best friend, Audrey Schons; and
ex-husband, James Yoder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother, Tom Courson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday), December 14,
and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, at the H. Jack
Buzard Funeral Home in Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Friday, December 16, 2011, at the funeral home with Gary Guntrum of Carwick
Wesleyan Church in Rimersburg officiating.

Interment will follow at the Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, Pa.
