Gary L George
Gary L. "Pappy" George, 68, of Kittanning, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 24, 1944, in Butler, son of the late Charles Alfonzo and
Grace Marie (Bonner) George.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High school.
He was a lifelong resident of Kittanning.
He is survived by his companion of 37 years, Ruth Cousins, of Kittanning; his
daughter, Tammy (Chad) Burbick, of Florida; four other children, Theresa, Dale,
Mark and Toby; his daughter, Mary (Tom) Beere, of Kittanning; daughter, Lida
(Jim) Grates, of Kittanning; his sons, Leonard Cousins and Ronald Cousins, both
of Kittanning; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Baptiste
and Eva Mae and three brothers, Charles, Carl, and Frank.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at
SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning. Additional visitation will be from 10
a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013. The Rev.
John Snyder will be officiating.
Interment will be in Croyle Cemetery, Adrian, Pa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral
expenses.
