Robert Frankin Branan
Robert Franklin Branan, 58, of 100 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Pa. died Tuesday,
April 15, 2003 at his residence.
He was born August 24, 1944 in Kittanning to Frank J. and Doris Jean (Campbell)
Branan.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He was a Marine veteran.
Mr. Branan was a truck driver and his hobby was gardening.
He was a past member of the Kittanning Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Pearl (Gilliland) Branan, whom he married Oct.
6, 1990; one son, Robert Frankin Branan Jr. of Ashland, Tenn.; one daughter;
Lisa Branan of Ashland, Tenn.; two stepsons, James Grates of Kittanning and
Timothy Grates of Worthington, Pa.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Jerry J. (Rosalie
P.) Brink of Worthington, Mrs. Leroy (Diane) Brink of Kittanning and Mrs.
Douglas R. (Linda Darlene) Shreffler of Ford City, Pa; five grandchildren; 18
step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, William
Lawrence Branan of Germany, Kenneth Branan of Home, Pa., and Gary Branan of
Adrian; and four sisters, Anna Eva LeMasters of Metz, W. Va., Mrs. Edison
(Karen) Miller and Mrs. Randy (Virginia) Paul, both of Ford City and Mrs. Donald
(Patricia) Shank of NuMine, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Lester Eugene Branan
and Ronald Branan.
Friends of Robert F. Branan, 58, of 100 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, who died
April 15, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, where funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Herbert C. Reefer of First
Presbyterian Church, Ford City officiating.
Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
