David Leroy Sarver
David Leroy Sarver, 77, of Worthington went to be with his Lord and Savior, The
Lord Jesus Christ, on Saturday December 31, 2022, in his residence.
David was born on July 20, 1945, in Worthington to the late Leroy and Bertha
(Claypoole) Sarver.
He was a 1963 graduate of Worthington High School, Worthington, Pa.
He was a US Army veteran serving as a military policeman in Vietnam.
David worked at PPG Glass Co. in Carlisle, Pa as a security guard.
He was a faithful member of the Worthington Baptist Church where he sang in the
choir and served as an usher and financial secretary for many years.
David enjoyed watching baseball and football. In his younger years he liked to
play volleyball, waffle ball and tennis. David loved the 4th of July picnics as
well as other holiday meals.
He leaves behind several cousins and friends to forever cherish his memory.
There will be no public visitation for David at this time.
A memorial service will be held in the Worthington Baptist Church at a later
date.
The F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington is assisting the family with
their arrangements. |
