David William King JR
David William King Jr., 36, RD 2, Worthington, Pa., died (after a long illness)
at 5 p.m. Monday, February 23, 1981, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East
Franklin Township, Kittanning, Pa.
Born on July 15, 1944 in Kittanning, he was the son of David William King Sr.
and Margaret (Gess) King.
He was a member of Worthington Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a 1963
Worthington-West Franklin High School graduate, Worthington, Pa. He was employed
at the Progressive Workshop in Kittanning.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Neal (Barbara Jean) Shaffer of
Elderton, Pa., and Marcia Diane King, who resides with her parents; and one
nephew.
He was predeceased by brothers, James Albert, Joseph Alfred and sisters, Mary
Irene, and Karen Sue.
Friends of David William King Jr., 36, RD 2, Worthington, Pa., who died on
Monday, February 23, 1981, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 Wednesday at the James A. Flick Funeral Home in Worthington. Funeral
services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 1981,
with the Rev. Donald Worth of the Worthington Evangelical Lutheran Church,
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ford City Cemetery, Ford City, Pa.
