Cary Max Shearer

Cary Max Shearer, 28, of 1504 N. Grant Avenue, Kittanning, was dead on arrival
at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, May 2, 1971.

He was born November 22, 1942 in Kittanning, a son of Richard Max and Adda
(Kuhn) Shearer of Worthington.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin Elementary School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a member of the First Church of God, Kittanning; Buffalo Valley
Sportsmen's Association, National Rifle CLub of America, Armstrong County
Hunting and Fishing Club, and United Brick and Clay Workers of America.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Betty Jane (Beers)
Shearer; two daughters, Doreen, Denise and Georgie Ann, both at home; a brother
Pressley Richard of Worthington; two sisters, Mrs. William (Rosalie) Walter Jr.
of Kittanning RD 3 and Shawnee Denise at home.

Friends of Cary Max Shearer, who died May 2, 1971, will be received at the James
A. Flick Funeral Home in Worthington, from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. today and
Tuesday.  Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, conducted by
the Rev. Charles E. strater, pastor of First Church of God, Kittanning.

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
