Karl Dean Minteer 

Karl Dean Minteer, 69, of Worthington, Pa., died Saturday, February 9, 2013, at
his residence.

He was born May 10, 1943, in Worthington, the son of the late Karl D. "Kelly"
and Isabel M. (Schiano) Minteer.

He was raised in Worthington and was a resident of Worthington for the past 43
years.

He was a 1961 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

He was a retired meter technician, having worked for West Penn Power Company. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with family and
friends.

Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Minteer, of Worthington; son, Karl Angelo
Minteer (Joni), of Lake Elsinore, California; daughters, Kelly Ann Minteer-Kraus
and her husband, Martin, of Freeport, Pa., and Deanna Marie Dickson and her
husband, Sean C., of Templeton, Pa.; granddaughter, Brittney Renee Dickson, also
of Templeton; and brothers, Jerry A. Minteer and his wife, Sarah J., of
Worthington, Joseph William Minteer and his wife, Kathleen A., of Worthington,
Daniel Leon Minteer and his wife, Helen J., of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and
David James Minteer, of Melbourne, Florida.

He was predeceased by his parents, Karl D. and Isabelle M (Schiano) Minteer, his
paternal grandparents, Joseph Warren and Ada (Dunkle) Minteer and his maternal
grandparents, Joseph and Mildred Schiano; and numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins.

Friends may visit the family from 11 a.m. until the time of a memorial service
at 1 p.m. Saturday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington with the
Rev. Robert Pascoe officiating.

Interment at Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Butler, Pa. 

Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to St. Jude Children's
Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
