Evelyn W. Bowser Soich
We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2024, at the age of 83, Evelyn W. Soich
of Girard, Ohio, passed away at St. Elizabeth Boardman.
She was born on August 29, 1940, in Fairview, PA, the daughter of the late
Andrew Bowser and Edna Smith.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School in Worthington, PA.
She married Edward W. Soich on April 30, 1977, and was self-employed as a house
cleaner.
She was a member of First Baptist in Girard, enjoyed shopping, and going out to
eat, and was very gracious in donating to St Jude's and homeless veterans, but
her number one joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
She is survived by: her son George Yanno; her grandchildren, David Brenner Jr.
(Stephanie), Destiny Brenner (Pedro), Stefanie, Stacey, Jay, and Mike; and her
great-grandchildren, Princess Leia, Sevario, Angel, Kara, Kaiden, Raelynn,
Bailey, Gracie Christian and Annie.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Bowser and Edna Smith; her children,
John W. Soich, James Bowser, and Dina Brenner; and her siblings, Helen Clark,
Dale Bowser, Leroy Bowser, and Peg Drohn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at
the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown,
OH 44515). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 from 11:00
AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
