Donna Jean Blose Brewer
Donna Jean Brewer, 50, of 254 Buena Vista Road, Chicora died of cancer at 2:50
p.m. Monday, June 7, 1993, at the Mary Chiles Hospital, Mount Sterling, Ky.
Born in Craigsville, Armstrong County, October 18, 1942, she was the daughter of
Earl and Vivian (Bowser) Blose.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Mrs. Brewer had worked at Indspec Chemical in Petrolia for 18 years.
She attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ of Chicora R.D. 1, and belonged
to the Butler Women of the Moose and the U.S. Trotting Association.
Surviving are her husband, James M. Brewer Sr., whom she married April 18, 1959;
two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Pamela) Steiner of East Brady and Leeann Brewer of
Butler; two sons, Douglas J. Brewer of Saugerties, N.Y. and James M. Brewer Jr.
of Worthington; her parents of Craigsville, three brothers, William E.Blose of
Freeport, Dennis J. Blose of Kittanning and Edward L. Blose of Phoenix, Ariz.;
two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Norieta L.) Wolfe of Craigsville and Mrs. Frank
(Harriet "Hattie" Y) Welnetz of Wisconsin; and six grandchildren.
Friends of Donna Jean Brewer of 254 Buena Vista Road, Chicora, who died Monday,
June 7, 1993, will be received at the Thomas M. Steighner Funeral Home, Chicora
from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral
services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday from St Paul's United Church of
Christ, Chicora R.D. 1, with the Rev Francis Sapp, pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chicora, Pa.
