Richard Glenn Milliron

Richard Glenn Milliron, 70, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, May 21, 2013
after suffering a heart attack.

He was born October 28, 1942 in Kittanning, Pa., (Armstrong County) to the late
John H. and Lillian L. (Frye) Milliron.

He was a 1960 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

He attended the First Church of God in Kittanning as a youth. In 1961, he
attended Anderson College, Anderson, Indiana, where he met his future wife,
Velma N. Nisely. Dick grew up with a love of singing. He attended East Side
Church of God, Anderson, and sang bass in the choir and the quartet, the East
Side Five. More recently, he was in the choir and quartet at Chesterfield Church
of God, Anderson.

For 20 years, he was an antique book dealer in antique malls across central
Indiana State. After 28 years, retiring from Delco Remy, a division of GM,
Anderson. His expertise was needed at Universal Tool and Engineering, and then
at EnerDel (Ener1).

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Velma (Nisely) Milliron, his son, Kurtis
Paul (Connie) Milliron of Anderson, and daughter, Joy M. Sheets of Anderson;
sister-in-law, Neva L. Nisely of Anderson, brother-in-law, Myrl A. (Joyce A.)
Nisely of NC.; three grandchildren, Kirsten, Levi and Katelyn Milliron;
brothers, John Allen (Judy L.) Milliron of Kittanning, Pa., and Thomas Harold
(Georgia) Milliron of Emlenton, Pa; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his
parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Dalford and Joyce Nisely of Anderson, Indiana.

Memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the
Chesterfield Church of God, Anderson, Indiana.
