Dorothy Ilene Goodgasell Toy
Dorothy Ilene Toy Worthington Dorothy Ilene "Dot" (Goodgasell) Toy, 70, of
Worthington, died Friday, September 7, 2012, at home, surrounded by loved ones.
Born April 6, 1942, in Ford City, she was the daughter of the late Charles and
Dorothy (Schaefer) Goodgasell.
She was a 1960 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She had worked at Lifesteps, and was Lutheran by faith. She was a member of the
Ford City VFW and Polish Falcons.
Mrs. Toy enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and some of their best
friends for 62 years. She was an avid sports fan, and liked spending time with
their children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Walter Toy; two daughters, Sandra
Toy, of Worthington, and Amber Boltz, of Kittanning; daughter-in-law, Tracey
Toy, of Yatesboro; and five grandchildren, Tyler Boltz, of Kittanning, Kristeena
Radaker, of Chicora, Christopher Radaker, of Worthington, Abigail Toy, of
Yatesboro, and Justin Toy, of Yatesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Walter "Ken" Toy
Jr.; and an infant granddaughter, Angelica Radaker.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the F. Duane
Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the
funeral home with the Rev. Arlyn Eisenbrandt officiating.
Interment in Ford City Cemetery, Ford City, Pa.
