Chaz Larry Beal
Chaz “Larry” Beal, 80, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away from a short illness
on August 25, 2022.
Larry was the son of Howard “Bud” and Carmen (Montgomery) Beal Bowser, of
Worthington, PA. He was born on February 24, 1942.
Larry was a 1960 graduate of Worthington West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.
His skills led him to employment as a machinist for Western Electric in
Indianapolis, Indiana. He later was offered a job at OFS Optics in Georgia,
where he retired as a CNC machinist in 2003.
Larry and his wife Connie both shared a love for rescuing and adopting stray
cats. Larry’s additional hobbies included collecting and working on antique
cars. He enjoyed dining out and making people happy.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Connie Svoboda Beal; brother Steve
(Sandy) Bowser of Cowansville; brother-in-law Bruce Svoboda of Nebraska;
sister-in-law Anita (Tom) Moore of Nebraska; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Albert and Virginia Svoboda; sister Nancy Beal Giesler; nephew Christy Giesler.
Local arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in
Kittanning, PA.
