Daniel Clark Young
Daniel Clark "Boone" Young, 64, of Main Street, Emlenton, died at 5:17 p.m.
Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Clarion Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born May 27, 1941 in Kittanning to Albert B. and Arlene (Loughery) Young.
Mr. Young was a professional musician for many years and was a drummer in the
Tri-State Country Music Association, Inc. He was also a member of the New
Kensington Musician's Union.
He was a 1959 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He had been a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Parker and the
Petroleum Valley Lions Club. He enjoyed good-humored conversation with his many
friends.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Albert Young of Kittanning; one cousin, Margie
Laughery of Punxsutawney; his former wife, Diana Lynn Pella Young Beer Pella of
Kittanning; and close friends, Wayne and Audrey Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Emlenton
Cemetery, Kerr Avenue, Emlenton, with the Rev. Jack Robinson, Nazarene Pastor,
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Emlenton Cemetery, Emlenton, Pa.
