William Charles Renwick

William Charles Renwick, 69, of Worthington, went to be with his Lord and Savior
Sunday, October 25, 2009, while in the company of family members in Allegheny
General Hospital, Pittsburgh. 

He was born February 2, 1940, in Worthington, to the late Clarence and Margaret
(Robinson) Renwick.

He was a 1958 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

He retired from Westinghouse and worked part time at Standard Bent Glass in
Butler. 

William was a loving husband and father and was a member of Montgomeryville
Baptist Church in Adrian, where he was a deacon. He was an avid hunter and
enjoyed going to camp, singing in church, mowing grass, and playing the spoons
and harmonica. 

William was preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn (Claypoole) Renwick; son,
Jeffrey Renwick and wife, Jeanne, of Worthington; daughters, Deborah Renwick
Smith, of Fenelton, and Diane Varian and husband, David, of Sarver; five
grandchildren, Joshua and Joseph Renwick, Kalynne and Camie Meridieth, and Brett
Miller; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Madalyne and Conner; brother, Robert
Renwick, of California; two sisters, Pearl Baker and husband, Francis, of
Murrysville, and Helen Cornman and husband, Jack, of California; and several
nieces and nephews. 

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, in Worthington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in
the Montgomeryville Baptist Church in Adrian, with one hour of additional
viewing prior to the service. Pastor William Finnigan officiating assisted by
Pastor Donald Toy. 

Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
