Carol Elaine Bargerstock Courson

Carol Elaine Bargerstock Courson, 78, of Parker, Pa., passed away, August 3,
2018, at the VNA In-Patient Hospice in Butler early Friday morning. 

Born in Craigsville on April 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edward
and Minnie (Shay) Bargerstock. 

Carol was a 1958 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

She later married Thomas Courson who preceded her in death in 2011. 

Carol enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and playing the lottery, especially the
scratch offs. She was a homemaker most of her life but also helped cooking at
the former Rosebud as well as the Centurion restaurants. 

Carol was of the Methodist faith. 

Carol would often ride with her husband in his trucking business and eventually
got her CDL and would even drive the truck. She was an avid fisherman and golfer
as well. 

Carol was known to the community by her generosity and kindness and was known as
"Mom" to most of it.  Of all her accomplishments she was most proud of her
children as well as her grandchildren. It was her family that made her the
happiest and who she loved spending time with. 

She is survived by  two daughters:  Tammy (John) Tasker of Clintonville and
Triscia Bartley of Parker;  six sons:  Tom (Melanie) Courson of St. Petersburg,
Tim (Gaylene) Courson of Knox, Troy (Mary Leigh) Courson of St. Petersburg,
Terry "Chuck" (Michele) Courson of Parker, Todd (Brenda) Courson of Parker, and
Robert (Marcy) Courson of St. Petersburg; fifteen grandchildren, twenty eight
great-grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews; brother Edward Bargerstock of
Worthington.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son-in-law
Adam Bartley, brother Robert Bargerstock, and sister-in-law Virginia
Bargerstock.

Friends ay call 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday at H. Hack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne
Ave. Parker.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Parker United
Methodist Church (Everyone please meet at Church), Washington St., Parker with
Rev. Ken Hughes, United Methodist minister, officiating.  

Interment in Perryville Cemetery, Perryville, Pa.
