Roger Dexter Smith
Roger Dexter "Dex" Smith, 62, of RD 2, Worthington, Pa., died Saturday, May 5,
2001 at his residence.
He was born January 23, 1939 in Kittanning, Pa., to Kenneth and Genevieve E.
(Rupert) Smith.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Mr. Smith was a retired iron worker; was an Army veteran; and enjoyed hunting,
gardening and wood crafts.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Steven M. (Erin Dawn) Baran of Redford,
Mich.; one granddaughter, Mara Baran; his mother of Kittanning; and one brother,
Timothy Alvin Smith of Worthington.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends of Roger Dexter "Dex" Smith, 62, of RD 2, Worthington, Pa., who died
Saturday, May 5, 2001, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the F. Duane
Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear St., Worthington, where funeral services will be
held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, with the Rev. Donald Breghenti
officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
