Marilyn Louise Druschel Lent

Marilyn Louise (Druschel) Lent, 57, of California, Maryland died Saturday, March
23, 1996 at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Born on July 15, 1938 in New Castle, Pa., she was the daughter of Verna (Klink)
Druschel Wolfe of Greenville, Pa., and the late Willam Pascal Druschel.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa. prior to
graduating from New Castle High School in New Castle, Pa. She was married on
June 7, 1958 to Walter F. Lent, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lent earned bachelor of arts and master of arts degrees in elementary
education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude.
She wrote a weekly column called "Camp Foolery" for the Brown Thompson newspaper
and was a past worthy matron of America Chapter 19 of the Order of the Eastern
Star.

Mrs. Lent moved to Maryland in 1986, accepting a teaching position at Town Creek
Elementary School. She later transferred to Oakville Elementary.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons; Walter A. Lent of Union
City, Pa., Leonard W. Lent of Leonardtown, Maryland and three daughters; Amy J.
Lent of Union City, Pa., Karen Kay Price of Leonardtown, Maryland and Susan L.
Wingard of Arnold, Pa. One brother; William Henry Druschel of Ellicott City,
Maryland; nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today, Wednesday, March 27, 1996, from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home, located at 62 South Main Street in Union
City, Pa. Funeral services will be conducted there tomorrow, Thursday, March 28,
at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Union City, Pa.

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 2, 1996, at 7 p.m. at St
Paul's United Methodist Church in Leonardtown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Children's Fund.
