Marion Frederick Livengood

Marion Frederick Livengood, 72, of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed from this life
at his home on Friday, December 3, 2010.

Born in Kittanning, Pa. on March 28, 1938, he was the son of Emery and Evelyn
(Campbell) Livengood, one of 15 children.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Livengood worked for LTV Steel for 30 years, as a rigger, boiler maker and
welder and was based out of East Chicago, Indiana.

He was always a hard worker. He also sold insurance for a time. He was very
active and supportive of his children, taking an interest in everything they
got involved with.

He had a love of woodworking and with this, made miniature furniture for many
family and friends. A devout Christian, he enjoyed going on many mission works
to Central and South America helping build churches and schools, a task he
enjoyed for many years.

He was a member of Impact Church in Kerrville, Tx. and was involved in many
ways, never looking for praise, but always giving it to his fellow man. Mr.
Livengood was a gentle, kind and special man that took care of his family. He
loved to cook, making many meals for family, friends and whoever stopped by for
a visit.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Regina "Jean" Fennell
Livengood of Fredericksburg; his children: Kenneth Ray Livengood of Hammond,
Ind., Amy Lynn Ely of Kerrville and Rande Scott Livengood of DeMotte, Ind.; 11
grandchildren; three sisters: Midge Williams of Phoenix, Ariz., Wilda Goldinger
of Justin, Tx. and Mary Evans of Kittanning, Pa.; three brothers: George
Livengood of Kittanning, Pa, Cecil Eugene Livengood of Martinsburg, West
Virginia and Russell Livengood of Littleton, Colorado; many nieces, nephews and
friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved granddaughter, Kirsten Lea Ely;
and eight of his brothers and sisters.

There will be a Celebration of his life at Impact Church, Goat Creek Road,
Kerrville, Texas on January 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

The family suggests that donations in his name be made to Impact Church for
Mission Work, the American Cancer Society or to the Ronald McDonald House, a
cause near and dear to his heart.
