Richard Calvin Crawford

Richard Calvin Crawford, 84, of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, March 22,
2023, at Kittanning Care Center. 

He was born August 25, 1938, in Yellowdog, the son of the late Calvin and Beulah
(Shakeley) Crawford. 

He was a graduate of Worthington High School, class of 1956, and served in the
U.S. Army.  

Richard retired from Moonlight Mushroom Mine, where he worked in mine
maintenance. 

He was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Parish in Ford City. 

Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Left behind to cherish his memory includes his wife of 56 years, Connie (Lehner)
Crawford; daughter, Cindy Landgraf; grandchildren: Josie, Michaela, Lindsay and
Brayden Landgraf and Morgan Campbell; brother, Robert “Bob” (Marie)
Crawford; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sisters:
Dorothy Budd, Louise Giff, June Smith, Jean Smith, Betty Mularchik, Patricia
Smith and an infant sister.

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at
the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa., followed
by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Christ, Prince of Peace Parish,
718 Fourth Ave., Ford City, Pa., with the Very Rev. Eric J. Dinga as officiant.


Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington,
Pa.
