Erma Louise Toy Heilman
Erma Louise (Toy) Heilman, 75, of Worthington prior to living with her daughter
for the past five years, died Sunday, July 8, 2012.
She was born June 14, 1937, in Worthington. The daughter of the late Merle Toy
and Minnie (Toy) Toy and she was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was a 1955 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Erma's most important occupations was being a wife, Mom and Grandma. She was a
member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington and Harvest Community
Church.
Erma enjoyed spending time with family and friends, providing potato salad for
all the picnics and canning, baking Christmas cookies and just being "Daisy."
She is survived by her sons, Randy (Kathy) Heilman, of Worthington, and Michael
Heilman and his friend, Wendy Focht, of Worthington; daughter, Diana Heilman and
her friend, Doug Orr, and Calli Hooten, of Kittanning; granddaughters, Lindsay
Heilman and her fiance, Ryan Hyde, of Omaha, Neb., Kelsey Heilman, of
Worthington, and Taylor Heilman, who was born June 14, 2012, of Worthington;
brother, Merle (Willa) Toy, of Kittanning; and sisters, Delores (Paul) Bowser,
of Newton Falls, Ohio, and Illene (William) Thompson, of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David
Heilman, who died July 17, 2007; and infant daughter, Melanie.
Funeral service will be held for the family at 11 a.m. Wednesday at F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME in Worthington with Pastor Rodney Miller of Harvest
Community Church officiating.
Interment at Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.

Road, North Versailles, PA 15137.
