Shirley Loretta Swigart Robinson Rupp
Shirley Loretta (Swigart) Robinson Rupp, 86, of Worthington, Pa. went to be with
the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Born February 5, 1938, in Worthington, she was the daughter of the late Paul and
Norma (Davis) Swigart and was a lifelong resident of Worthington.
She was a 1955 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School in Worthington,
PA.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kittanning. Shirley enjoyed spending
time with her family.
Left behind to forever cherish her memory includes her daughter, Kathi (Terry)
Smith, of Worthington; her son, John (Bobbi) Rupp, of Worthington;
grandchildren, Shawna (Trevor) Zaliponi, of Butler, Brett (Danielle) Smith, of
Worthington, and Kailey and Kaden Rupp, of Worthington; great-grandchildren,
Alyza, Noah, Cameron and Max Smith, of Worthington and Ashlyn, Ayla and Canaan
Zaliponi, of Butler; sister, Marcia Trulick, of Worthington; and several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John
Rupp; sister, Iradell Simpson; and brothers, Harold, Harvey, and Edward
Swigart.
Private services will be held by the family with Rev. Jeffrey Smith of First
Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian
Cemetery on Cherry Street.

Baptist Church, 334 Arch St., Kittanning, PA 16201.
