Twila Faye Gaiser Macon

Twila "Faye" Gaiser Macon, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday June
29, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.

Born September 9, 1937, in Worthington, Pa. She was the daughter of Robert and
Bertha (Bennett) Gaiser.

She was a 1955 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Faye married John C. Macon on July 18, 1959, and she faithfully served the Lord
as a pastor's wife for their entire marriage, serving in churches in: Pickens,
S.C., Clinton, Md., Birmingham, Ala., and Alexandria, Va., before moving to
Alliance seven years ago. She was the cofounder of the Clinton Christian School
in Clinton, Md., that grew to an enrollment of over 1,000 students. She also was
a lecturer with the Eastern Association of Christian Schools. She loved and
collected butterflies and Nativity scenes; she also loved painting.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Rev. John C. Macon; daughters April
(Craig) Geis of Alliance and Angel (Chris) Adkins of Ellsworth; 11
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
son John Jr. in 2011.

Friends will be received at Lane Funeral Home, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown,
from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, where funeral services will be held at 8
p.m.
