Arlene Pearl Bowser McDaniel
Arlene Pearl (Bowser) McDaniel, 86, of Leeper, passed away Sunday, April 21,
2024, at the Clarion Hospital.
She was born May 6, 1937, in Worthington the daughter of the late Willard and
Viola (Bowser) Bowser.
Arlene was the past director of the senior center in Parker, PA.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, and bird watching, she had a love for animals.
Arlene was a 1955 graduate of the Worthington-West Franklin High School in
Worthington, PA.
She is survived by her two sons William McDaniel of Deer Trail, CO, and Jeffrey
(Kathleen) McDaniel of Chicora, PA; sister Kathy Bowser of Worthington;
granddaughter Candace Churlinsky; granddaughter Morgan; grandson Urijah
McDaniel; granddaughter Ameliah; granddaughter Ariannah; granddaughter Olivia;
granddaughter Eve.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William McDaniel who passed
away in 1976; andcompanion Michael Reed who passed away in January of 2021.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the F. Duane Snyder
Funeral Home in Worthington from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be
held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor
Robert Hindman officiating. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M.
until the time of the service.
The interment is in the Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Arlene's honor to the
Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 838, Kittanning, PA 16201.
