Mary Elizabeth Bono Albertini
Mary Elizabeth Bono Albertini, 71, of 407 High Meadow Drive died the morning of
Saturday, February 28, 2009, in her home.
Born June 3, 1937, in Worthington, Pa. She was a daughter of the late Theodore
J. and Frances R. (Peterson) Bono.
She was a 1955 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She married George F. Albertini on Feb. 7, 1959.
She retired in 1985 from the former St. Francis Hospital, where she was a
registered nurse for 25 years. She was a graduate of the former St. Francis
School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Vitus Church.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, George M. and Michele
Albertini of Boardman, Steven J. and Ellen Albertini of Ellicott City, Md., and
David A. and Lisa Albertini, and Theodore J. Albertini, all of New Castle; a
sister, Rose Antonio of Bellevue, Neb.; and seven grandchildren, Andrea
Albertini, Daniel Albertini, Kevin Albertini, Kate Albertini, Anthony Albertini,
Michael Albertini and Vincent Albertini.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and
Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.
tomorrow for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery, New Castle, Pa.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vitus Church or Odyssey Hospice.
