Dorothy Irene Simmers Cravener

Dorothy Irene (Simmers) Cravener, 74, of Worthington, died Thursday, January 27,
2011, in McKees Rocks, Pa.

She was born June 10, 1936, in West Franklin Township to William O. and Olive
Ruth (Hawkins) Simmers.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mrs. Cravener enjoyed serving the Lord. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and
spending time with her family and friends.

Survivers include two sons, Eric (Patty) Cravener, of Tennessee, and Robert
Cravener, of Verona, Pa.; four grandchildren, Stacey (Kevin) Schrock, of Apollo,
Pa., Naomi (David) Black, of Vandergrift, Pa., Dustin Cravener, of
Kittanning, Pa., Erian Cravener and Isaiah Cravener, both of Tennessee; and five
great-grandchildren, Brady Schrock, Karter Schrock and Logan Schrock, all three
of Apollo, and McKenna Black and Lillian Black, both of Vandergrift; one
brother, Elmer Henry Simmers of Worthington. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, George Cravener; a son,
Ricky Cravener; two brothers, Robert Roy Simmers on May 23, 1972, and Walter Ray
Simmers on November 3, 1996; a young sister, Vera M. Simmers.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Caring Heights, in
Coraopolis, Pa.
