Robert Hugh Smith Sr

Robert Hugh Smith Sr., 85, of Buffalo Township, went home to be with the Lord at
his residence Wednesday, August 25, 2021. 

He was born August 6, 1936, in Worthington, the son of the late Howard and Irene
(Grafton) Smith, of Worthington, Pa.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School in Worthington, Pa.
  
He lived most of his life in Coraopolis and Robinson Township, and the past five
years in Natrona Heights. 

Bob was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War. 

During Bob's life, he worked for U.S. Airways as a fleet service agent, and also
owned his own barber shop in Robinson Township. 

He enjoyed building puzzles, hunting, fishing and traveling, but especially
spending time with his family and friends. 

Bob is survived by his four children, Robert H. (Shelley) Smith, of
Brackenridge, Fred (Gail) Smith, of Worthington, Daniel Smith, of Kittanning,
and Shelley ( Matt) Eichenfels, of Indiana, Pa.; his stepchildren, Brian, Aaron
and Tim (Jessica) Devito. Also surviving are nine grand, and four
great-grandchildren. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Carol Smith;
his three sisters, Verna Boone from Nevada, Dorothy Caylor from New York and
Alice Bauldoff from Arizona; and his brother, Howard from Nevada. 

Bob has requested a private military burial in the National Cemetery of the
Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
